ABOUT US – COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE & TELECOM CONSTRUCTION IN ALASKA
Over 40 years ago, Alaska needed a telecommunications contractor that not only understood the conventions of the oil industry but could also effectively engineer, install and configure mission-critical communications systems to operate reliably in the face of the world’s harshest environments and most remote locations.
William “Bill” Laxson recognized that demand and accepted the challenge by founding North Slope Telecom, INC. (NSTI) with the stated intent communication infrastructure and telecom construction for the oil and gas companies in Alaska.
NSTI quickly became the recognized authority for reliable telecommunication systems in the oilfields, rural and remote areas of Alaska.
At NSTI, the motto is “Progress Never Stops” and They recognized that the growing demand for heavy construction was more than its operations department could keep up with so in 2020, NSTI created a wholly owned subsidiary called North Pacific Telecom, LLC. (NPT). North Pacific Telecom, LLC focuses on heavy civil, tower and outside plant telecommunications construction. Whether it’s in the heart of a metro area, a remote area of Alaska or a mountain top in the Pacific Northwest, NPT’s extensive knowledge and never stop attitude makes us uniquely equipped to handle it all.
